Introduced by a friend of mine, the food here is really good although a bit on the expensive side for chinese food to be honest. Excellent service and fair sized portions, food is full of flavour and cooked to order. Overall experience was great.

For two years that I have been in Calgary, I had to travel to the Northeast to get any decent Chinese food. Even then, the quality of food never met my expectations and service was always lacking. As my husband would attest, I am super picky, especially with Chinese food. I was getting tired of driving 20 minutes just to a get a decent bowl of noodles. When Silver City opened, I thought it would be another Chinese take out serving the same old western dishes. But this place is far beyond your typical take out place. It is the ONLY restaurant that does western and authentic Chinese dishes well. Silver City checks all boxes. The place is super clean and bright. The staff goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. They use fresh, quality ingredients. Their dishes are cooked the way it is supposed to be. The fact that there are so many Chinese customers tells you this place is totally authentic!!! I am so ecstatic that FINALLY, I found the best Chinese restaurant in Calgary. And to top it off, it is close to home. Now my hubby can have his western dishes while I can get to enjoy the authentic version.

A sister restaurant to Signature Palace (Another amazing restaurant), we have yet another great addition to SE Calgary. Carrying over the quality of service and food from Signature Palace, this place has simply great quality Chinese food. The menu consists of a great combination of traditional items as well as items that are catered to more western tastes. But don't be afraid to order from the Chinese menu, and ask the server about the items. You will not be disappointed. They also do not use MSG, which speaks volumes about how much flavour they can pack into their dishes. The restaurant itself is quite small, so you may need to call and book a table, but the place is clean, facilities are well kept, decor is pleasantly neutral and the parking is plentiful.

Definitely great authentic Chinese food here in the deep South! Great service and great food; you can't go wrong! So thankful that they're open right here at 130th Ave! Now we don't have to drive for 30 minutes just to get some good Chinese food! Highly recommend if you want some great authentic Chinese food! *Update Nov 2019. Came by today to try out their lunch session. They have congee and noodles, which were all very good (as always). We also tried the 海蜇手撕雞 (Jellyfish with shredded chicken) and 豬扒喇沙湯麵 (Laksa Styled Pork Noodles) and they were equally amazing. The Jellyfish with shredded chicken is actually only available on the Chinese menu but be sure to check it out if you're interested in trying more authentic styled Chinese dishes! Recommend trying the Laksa noodles for sure! (Parking is busy because it's lunch time, but Tony Roma's is just across the street and they aren't opened for lunch so just park there for easy access.)

We just found this lovely restaurant. Loved that they don’t use MSG, nor super sweet sauces. It’s rare! Good clean food. We ordered ginger beef, Szechuan noodles, Szechuan veggies, brisket and tendon. All were good, especially the iconic Calgary specialty dish - ginger beef. We will dine in next time and perhaps try out the lunch buffet.

Just found out the chef is from Vancouver! I used to travel there in order to get some real taste of yummy Chinese food. Now that I don’t need to. Very well run restaurant. I have recommended it to my best friends.
